How Smart are Montgomery Rats?

These rodents are very intelligent. They pose good learning power and can develop concepts in their brain. Although rats are tiny creatures as compared to elephants, they have advanced brains and high brilliance comparatively. Ben Vermaercke carried the research to determine the learning power of Montgomery rat. He said that rats need proper training to perform extravagantly. He trained them to find the bad and good things in the picture. They were told first and in the second set of practice, they performed independently.



The following points will clearly show that rats are very smart.
-Once rats pass through the route, they will keep it remember through-out their life.
-They are also good social animals. They may have families and love relations even if you keep them as a pet, they will prove loyal animals in that case also. They recognize well their family members.
-Rat keeps itself clean and it is also less likely to have infectious germs.
-They generate sounds of high frequency to communicate and they also sing, play, love and wrestle with other rats. If they do not have partners, they become depressed and lonely. They also communicate by smelling, or touching.
-Mice prefer to eat tasty food what they like most.
-Domesticated Alabama rats like other pets, dog, and cats can memorize many new things and can respond when you call its name. They can learn about sitting, fetching, jumping, and walking over the rope, moreover, they can learn puzzles solutions, and can perform in several situations. If you offer a food reward, the rat will follow your training faster.
-Rats love to play with toys, ropes, hammocks, ladders, and tubes etc.
-Rat brain has similarity with human brain both structural and functional.
-Rats are said very intelligent creatures because of their ability to learn faster. They have inquiring nature; they test the waters or food before taking it. Montgomery rats are now familiar with traps, and it is very difficult to trap them.
-Due to their intelligence, they are living successfully in the world, their populations are increasing like the human populations.
